Batribike Electric Bicycles

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I fit my own saddle?

A: Yes, Our bikes are made using standard Cycle parts and therefore most standard saddles will fit.

Q: Do I need a licence?
A: No, A Batribike is classified as an ordinary bicycle, so it can go anywhere a bicycle can. You don’t need a licence, MOT or insurance.

Q: If I brake will the motor keep going?
A: No, there is a switch in the brake lever that immediately cuts the motor when you pull the brake.

Q: Where can I try out a Batribike?
A: You can either come to our showroom where you can ride any of the bikes in our range or you can see us at one of the shows we attend. You can also see our range at many dealers around the UK and Ireland. Take a look at the Where to Buy page for details of your nearest stockist.

Q: Can I charge my new Batribike in my Motorhome or Caravan?
A: Yes. The bike is supplied with a mains charger and whichever model you choose it will only draw a maximum of 2 amps whilst charging. Almost all campsite hook-ups deliver a minimum of 6 amps. You can also charge via an inverter. For a single bike we would suggest a 350W or larger inverter.

Q: Will you take my old bicycle or electric bicycle in part exchange?
A: We will be happy to take any model of BATRIBIKE in part exchange for a newer model. Sadly, we are unable to offer this service for other makes of bicycle.

Q: Do you sell ex-demonstrators or or other discounted Batribikes?
A: We occasionally have trade-ins or bikes used for demonstration purposes. Please phone or e-mail and we can let you know what we have in at the time you are ready to purchase.
