BATRIBIKE is committed to providing top quality electric bikes at sensible prices but we will not compromise on the service we offer both our dealers and our end users. To ensure that we give great service we have been accredited by, or are members of the following organisations:-

ACT – The Association of Cycle Traders

ACT Member

The National Association of Cycle Traders (ACT) is the UK trade body committed to the specialist cycle retail sector.

ACT members have invested in business, skills, promotion and the development of the UK cycle market. All have met the criteria for ACT membership status.

Platinum Member

Platinum is the premium tier of ACT membership, indicating a high level of investment by the retailer in services and skills, helping to ensure that the best quality service is consistently achieved.

Cytech Accreditation

Cytech is the bicycle industry’s recognised training and accreditation scheme for cycle mechanics and technicians. Owned and run by the industry for the industry. Cycle shops displaying the Cytech accredited symbol employ technicians with a minimum of a Cytech Technical Level Two qualification or higher and are current full ACT Members.

Cytech accredited staff have undergone professional technical training and accreditation to recognised industry standards, achieving a number of practical and theory tests before qualification. Cytech courses encompass the basics of cycle mechanics right through to dealing with the most advanced and high-tech componentry and parts.

We have invested in training our staff to give them the skills they need to provide first class service. Our Technical Manager holds Cytech qualifications and additionally provides specific Batribike training to our dealers. Other workshop staff have or are in the process of obtaining the same qualifications. Our Technical Director also holds Cytech certificates so as you can see, our commitment to quality and service is at the core of our business.

Cycle to Work

The Cycling to Work programme is a Government initiative, created to get more people riding bicycles to work. Helping the environment, improving health and wellbeing and saving money in the process. The cycling to work programme offers employees the opportunity to hire a bicycle and necessary safety equipment from their employer achieving significant savings off the usual purchase price.

Many of our Official Stockists are able to supply the BATRIBIKE range of battery powered bicycles under the Cycle to Work scheme. Your local Batribike dealer may also be able to supply bikes under other schemes such as Bikes for Work, Bikes for the NHS, Ride it Away, Cyclescheme, Ride to Work etc. Check with the individual dealers for details.

BEBA – The British Electric Bicycle Association

Batribike have been involved with BEBA since it first opened for Membership at the Cycle Show in Earls Court in 2009.

Since 2010 we have also been involved in the running and organisation of the Association, such is our passion for Electric Bicycles.

As Full Members of the Association, we adhere to the BEBA Code of Practice ensuring that our customers, both retail and trade, can rely on us for Quality and Service. Several of our Official Stockists are also BEBA Retail Members.

BAGB – Bicycle Association of Great Britain

Bicycle Association of Great BritainIn January 2015 BEBA merged with the Bicycle Association of Great Britain (BAGB) and a new Electric Bike Group is being formed within the Association.

BATRIBIKE are involved with this new Group, just as we were with BEBA and this allows us to continue to keep abreast of current Technical and Legislative requirements.
