Electric cycle dealer wins business awardPOSTED: 19th February 2013
Atmosphere Electric Bikes, a Batribike electric cycle dealer based in Bristol, has been awarded a Local Business Accelerators prize. The LBA competition is designed to boost British businesses. It is backed by five hundred regional newspapers and supported by the Government and private sector’s Business in You campaign.
Alistair McHardy of Atmosphere is delighted “We entered this competition last October and gradually we were whittled down to 12 finalists. After further presentation and judging we were announced as winning a prize of £10,000 advertising and two mentors and now a chance to go for the National competition. So upward and onwards for Electric Bikes and Bristol.”
The campaign’s national ambassador Deborah Meaden said: “I would like to congratulate the winners of this year’s Local Business Accelerators who should all feel extremely proud to have got this far in the competition. We need to do everything we can to support small business owners and entrepreneurs and LBA is helping to do just that.”
The regional winners not only receive local advertising worth £10,000 but also are mentored by experienced local business leaders. The overall national winner will receive mentoring from Deborah Meaden the entrepreneur and Dragon’s Den star.
Electric cycles are ideally suited to local business sales where customers can view and test ride the bikes and get expert advice on the right choice for their requirements. This also gives the customer a local expert for maintenance and servicing.
