Batribike AlphaCity cycling

Cycling opportunities abound within the city of Glasgow including a cycle trail along the banks of the Clyde in the very heart of the city. Glasgow City Council is committed to improving cycling in the city and has over 180 miles of cycle lanes of various types. They have also been installing 100 cycle racks per year since 2007.

Electric bikes, commute and leisure

Electric bikes are excellent for commuting or leisure, multi-level pedal assist allows the rider to choose how much assistance is given by the electric motor. Many riders choose a higher assistance for hills or high winds and then lower the assistance for the flat or when feeling fresh. Commuters may prefer to use the higher assistance to get to work felling fresh.

Folding electric bikes can be an ideal accessory for many leisure activities such as motorhomes or boating. They can easily be folded to fit in the boot of a car. Batribike also offers an optional storage bag to keep your load space clean for when you have been splashing through the puddles!

National Cycle Route (NCR)
